Support for multiple plans on Stripe

The problem is that pricing plans are really diverse and complicated. When you have multiple plans then you also have to define if you can upgrade, when you can upgrade (rn or period end), what happens if you downgrade, when you can downgrade, when the upgrade charge is billed, how the proration for up/downgrades should be, etc.
We would need to "clone" the billing plan structure from Stripe to be able to represent it properly. That was the main reason Achromatic has the Free/Pro plan structure - it's easy.

I'm going to upvote this, and I'm surprised it's not more popular. As to me what makes SaaS work for both customers and SaaS companies is the ability to up-sell every day 24/7. I've lost count of the number of times I've signed up for a 'starter' plan then after a few months upgraded through to 'Pro' or beyond etc.
My whole product could be sold to anyone from solo devs through to SMBs and Enterprise (assuming I actually sell & my backend can handle the requests), with features and pricing appropriate for each customer. But with only one price point I can now only target just SMBs or just Enterprise, already it's harder to market. So it would be an amazing feature and one that would no doubt get you more sales too. ;)
